Paladin Radio breaking artist The Ten Thousand

Ten Thousand are a 5 piece melodic rock band from Melbourne Australia. Bursting onto
the scene in 2011 the band quickly established itself as a explosive live act and it wasn’t
long before they were in the studio eagerly recording their debut EP “Tales From The
Wasteland”.  Released in September 2011 the EP showcased a fresh exciting sound, a
diverse, dramatic yet sexy take on rock n roll. The band went on tour in support of the
release supporting the likes of Dead Letter Circus, Electric Mary, Electrik Dynamite,
Floating Me as well as supporting LA based rockers Juke Kartel on their Australian
tour. Winning fans over with their blistering energy fueled live performances it wasn’t
long before Ten Thousand were headlining their own packed out shows. Highlights
include a their packed out EP launch at  The Palace as well as top spots on the Rock
the Bay Festival &Creep show festival at the Espy.
With momentum on their side the band decided to enter the studio again, this time at
Birdland Studios with legendary rock producer Lindsay Gravina (Jet, The Living End,
Spiderbait, Eskimo Joe & Shihad). After launching  their new single “When I Get You”
on Dec 8th to a packed out room at Revolver Ten Thousand are gearing up to take
their explosive live show back on the road over summer. Armed with a string of
new singles the band has further developed its sound, straddling new territory
and fusing together grooving rock n roll riffs, echoing spaced out melodies, psychedelic
soundscapes, a thunderous fuzzed out rhythm section and soaring melodic vocals.
With influences as varied as Motley Crue, Muse & 30 Seconds To Mars, Ten Thousand
destroy the barriers between progressive and classic rock n roll.
